Winning Partnerships Since 1906

We are proud to announce our 100 year anniversary in 2006, as the oldest continuously operating plumbing and heating company servicing Denver and the Front Range area. Some of our highlights throughout the years:

• • 1906. Benjamin J. Braconier established Braconier Plumbing when he opened his office at 1076 South Gaylord Street. The entrepreneur that he was, he made benches out of pipe, which he placed on corners where people could sit and wait for streetcars and buses. They were great advertising and provided great comfort.



• • 1949, the business was sold to Joe McCarty who ran it successfully for 40 years.



• • 1989 Al Stone purchased the company. He came from Chicago where he was the project manager for mechanical construction on the Sears Tower.



• • Under Al, the company continued to provide the highest quality service and also began to pursue new construction projects.



• • Some of our biggest owner client are Lockheed Martin, Longmont United Hospital, Qwest and Denver Health.



• • Were were awarded the ACE Award from the Association of General Contractor for our HVAC work on the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception prior to the visit of Pope Paul II during World Youth Day and for the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes.



• • The company has grown from an annual volume of $600,000 to $21.5 million annually.



• • All of our supervisors carry a current 10 hour OSHA and we have a drug testing program that insures a drug free workplace.
